Is a card on file safe?
Yes — and it's safer than the alternatives salons actually use (a card number scribbled in a notebook, or none at all). The card is vaulted by a PCI-compliant processor. You never see or store the full number; you only trigger a charge against the token, under the policy the client agreed to.
